Immobilized Enzymes
Immobilized Enzymes is a scholarly work, published in 1974 in ''The Journal of Biochemistry''. The main subjects of the publication include biochemistry, cellulose, chemistry, carboxypeptidases, stereochemistry, lysozyme family, Citrus, enzyme assay, specific activity, fibroblast activation protein alpha, enzyme, glutaral, nuclear chemistry, and chromatography. Carboxypeptidase CN (CPase CN*) EC 3.4.12.1, a preparation from the exocarp of Citrus natsudaidai Hayata, was immobilized by conjugating the enzyme to AE-cellulose through glutaraldehyde at various pH values with or without pretreatment with a competitive inhibitor, β-phenylpropionic acid.
