The upper surface is blackish-brown, with a slightly olive-green sheen. The underside is brown. The head is sparsely punctate, with scattered bristle-like structures. The pronotum has moderately dense punctation and a few setae. The elytra have irregular rows of punctures and each elytron shows 4–5 narrow, unpunctate striations. Occasionally, small, light-colored setae can be found on the elytra next to the longitudinal stripes.
