Highland Aviation
Highland Aviation Training Ltd is an Approved Training Organisation. It is located at Inverness Airport in Scotland, at the North Apron of the airfield Highland offers flight training for private pilots and aircraft maintenance, including for Piper and Cessna Aeroplanes and Autogyro/Rotorsport Gyrocopters.It provides the following courses in accordance with the Aircrew Regulations:
- CRI Single - Class Rating Instructor - can be single engine, multi engine or both
- CR SEP - Single Engine Piston Rating
- FI - Flying Instructor
- LAPL - Light Aircraft Pilots Licence
- PPL - Private Pilot Licence
History
Highland Aviation started in 2009 with a small fleet of Piper Aircraft, and now operates eight aircraft, including three gyrocopters.Highland Aviation was the first company to gain the CAA's Approved Training Organisation Gyroplanes status.
Experiencing continued growth throughout 2018/19, Highland Aviation became a Part.145 Subpart F approved organisation, allowing the organisation to perform maintenance on a wider range of aircraft. Highland Aviation maintains nearly twenty aircraft. The organisation has received multiple awards for its flight experiences, including a 2019 Travel and Hospitality award.
