Heptanema
Heptanema is an extinct genus of prehistoric coelacanth from the Middle Triassic of northern Italy and southern Switzerland.
The type and only species is Heptanema paradoxa. Arthur [Smith Woodward|Woodward] suggested that Coelacanthus minor could be a species of Heptanema.
