Hama District
Hama District is a district administratively belonging to Hama Governorate, Syria. At the time of the 2023 Census, it had a population of 1,054,000 Its administrative centre is the city of Hama. It is now controlled by the Syrian transitional government
Sub-districts
The district of Hama is divided into four sub-districts or nahiyahs :- Hama Subdistrict : population 467,254.
- Suran Subdistrict : population 90,654.
- Hirbnafsah Subdistrict : population 54,592.
- Al-Hamraa Subdistrict : population 32,604.
