Halloran's Little Boat
Halloran's Little Boat is a 1966 Australian play by Thomas Keneally. It was based on his unpublished novel "Bring larks and heroes" and was commissioned by the University of New South Wales.
Reviewing the original 1966 production the Tribune called it " a serious and deeply-felt play. in which many fundamental guestions are asked."
Writing in 1978 Brian Hoad of The Bulletin called it "A verbose yet meaty piece in three formal acts, now rather old-fashioned, it nonetheless played its part in triggering off the theatrical revolution which was to lead to plays like The Removalists or Keneally’s far
more interesting An Awful Rose of 1972."
