HR 968
HR 968 is a triple star in the Eridanus constellation with an apparent magnitude of 5.93. A close pair, a magnitude 6.6 F-type star and a magnitude 6.9 A-type star, are accompanied by a fainter common proper motion companion away. The three combined are barely visible to the naked eye. It had the Bayer designation u Eridani by Nicolas [Louis de Lacaille] before Francis Baily dropped the title.
