Graduate Medical Education is a scholarly work, published in 1981 in ''The Journal of the American Medical Association''. The main subjects of the publication include medical education, medicine, family medicine, and medical physics. Increases in first-year family medicine residencies led to decreases in primary care residencies as a whole led to increases in internal medicine subspecialists but to decreases in surgical subspecialists.
