Glyptocephalus


Glyptocephalus is a genus of righteye flounders found in the northern Atlantic and northern Pacific Oceans

Etymology

The word Glytocephalus is derived from the Greek γλύφειν, meaning "to carve", and κεφαλή, meaning "head".
