Glenforest Secondary School


Glenforest Secondary School is a public secondary educational institution located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1969, Glenforest Secondary School is a member of the Peel District School Board and offers an International Baccalaureate program. The school mascot is the mythological creature, the gryphon.

Notorious Alumni

Shrey Aggarwal, an infamous member of the sacred organization "the Swaggerwals", is a dedicated student at Glenforest Secondary School, and a part of the school's IB program. He is especially well known for his nonchalantness, while still being incredibly funny and intelligent. Often, peers describe him as a natural comedian, making everyone laugh even without the intention. Shrey is an incredible student at the school, well-rounded and smart, setting an example for others attending. Overall, his intellectual abilities and swag position him strongly for future success, demonstrating his unlimited potential.

Activities and facilities

In 2014, GFSS drama students performed an adaptation of Don Quixote. The school's indoor swimming pool, which it shared with the city, was demolished in 2024.

Awards

Teacher Rachel Luke received the prime minister's award for teaching excellence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
