George Knox (ecologist)

George Alexander Knox (16 December 1919 – 4 August 2008) is a New Zealand marine biologist, zoologist, and university teacher. He was born in Pleasant Point. He died in Christchurch.

He was educated at University of Canterbury and Christchurch Teachers' College. This person's employers include University of Canterbury. Awards received include Fellow of the Royal Society Te Apārangi, Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit, and Member of the Order of the British Empire.
