Gennadii Rubinstein
Gennadii Shlemovich Rubinstein was a Russian mathematician. His research focused on mathematical programming and operations research. His name is associated to the Kantorovich–Rubinstein metric, also commonly known as the Wasserstein distance, used in optimal transport.
