Fort Grosnez
Fort Grosnez is a fort on the Island of Alderney, to the west of Braye Bay, located in the north of the Channel Islands. With Mt. Hale Battery and Fort Albert across the bay, Fort Grosnez protects the main harbor of Alderney, and the -long breakwater. In 1893, all the other forts on Alderney were disarmed except for Fort Albert and Fort Grosnez, which retained 2 guns for the militia’s practice.
