Flexithrix
Flexithrix is a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming and motile genus of bacteria from the family Flammeovirgaceae with one known species which first has been isolated from marine mud. Flammeovirga produce zeaxanthin, poly-β-D-glutamic acid and poly-β-L-glutamine.
