Flanigan's

Flanigan's 'Seafood Bar and Grill' is an American restaurant and liquor store chain with locations throughout South Florida. Flanigan's is known for its "legendary Baby Back Ribs", which sell over a million pounds per year. It is owned by Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc.

History

Originally started in 1959 as a liquor lounge by Joseph "Big Daddy" Flanigan, they served "strong drinks, a casual vibe, and no-nonsense pricing." In 1985, amidst bankruptcy, Flanigan's opened their first sit-down restaurant in Pompano Beach, Florida. The restaurant was a huge success, opening more locations and becoming a South Florida staple.
