Federal League (OHSAA)
The Federal League is an Ohio High School Athletic Association sports conference that was established in 1964 and includes schools from Stark and Summit counties in Ohio.

History
The Federal League begins league play in 1964 with Canton South, Fairless, Glenwood, Jackson, Marlington, Perry, and Sandy Valley as charter members.In 1968, Sandy Valley left for the Senate League. The same year saw Louisville, North Canton and Oakwood be welcomed into the league.
in 1975, Fairless left for the All-Ohio conference, meanwhile would add GlenOak, who became a consolidated school of Oakwood and Glenwood.
in 1983, Alliance accepted their invitation into the league, following by Marlington in 1985 and Lake in 1987.
in 1988, the league already having 10 teams, the league split into two divisions, the American Division and National Division, adding New Philadelphia, Timken and Wooster.
in 1990, the league merged back into one division, following the departure of Canton South and Louisville, who left for the Northeastern Buckeye Conference.
In 1995 Timken left to become independent. They would later consolidate with Canton McKinley in 2015 1997 saw New Philadelphia leave for the East Central Ohio League.
in 2003, both Alliance and Wooster would leave the Metro Athletic Conference and the newly formed Ohio Cardinal Conference respectively. The same year saw Austintown Fitch, Boardman and Canton McKinley join for all sports except football; their programs later joined for all sports in 2004.
in 2011, Austintown Fitch leaves for the All-American Conference Fitch tried to remain a football-only member of the Federal League but ended up leaving for all sports.
in 2013, Green announced that they would join the Federal League beginning the 2015–16. school year. in 2014, Boardman leaves for the All-American Conference.
