Evidence for concurrent activation of sequentially encoded spatial locations

Evidence for concurrent activation of sequentially encoded spatial locations is a scholarly work, published in 2018 in ''Journal of Vision''. The main subjects of the publication include encoding, cognition, biological sequence, cognitive psychology, computer science, psychology, task, working memory, speech recognition, and cued speech. The authors trained an inverted encoding model (IEM) to assess alpha selectivity for the location of each item and found robust representations of both to-be-remembered locations during the 1s delay interval consistent with the interpretation that both items are simultaneously maintained in an active state.
