Effect of particle shape on catalyst deactivation using particle-resolved CFD simulations

Effect of particle shape on catalyst deactivation using particle-resolved CFD simulations is a scholarly work, published in 2019 in ''Chemical Engineering Journal''. The main subjects of the publication include chemistry, particle, materials science, dehydrogenation, propylene, catalysis, Lattice Boltzmann methods, electrostatic precipitator, propane, particle size, chemical engineering, diffusion, yield, and porous medium. Therefore, the work showed that the particles with the lower surface area are favorable for propane dehydrogenation process due to slower catalyst deactivation leading to higher conversion and longer operating time.
