Dysoxylum rugulosum


Dysoxylum rugulosum is a species of tree in the family Meliaceae. The specific epithet rugulosum means 'small wrinkles', referring to the surface of the leaflets.

Description

Dysoxylum rugulosum grows up to tall with a trunk diameter of up to. The bark is brown. The sweetly scented flowers are yellowish. The fruits are orange, multi-lobed, up to long.

Distribution and habitat

Dysoxylum rugulosum is found in Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo. Its habitat is rain forests from sea-level to altitude.
