Drillia adusta


Drillia adusta is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Drilliidae.

Description

The shell istapering to a point and is brown.
It has ten whorls, which are flattened above, with tubercles in the middle, with the tubercles being somewhat compressed longitudinally. The body whorl is grooved with granules below. The aperture is short, a posterior sinus. The siphonal canal is very short.

Distribution

This species occurs in the demersal zone of the Pacific Ocean off Colombia.
