Doug Tomalin
Charles Douglas Tomalin, was an English diver who competed for Great Britain at the 1936 Summer Olympics.
Biography
At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, he finished ninth in the 10 metre platform event.At the 1934 Empire Games he won the silver medal in the 3 metre springboard event and in the high diving competition. Four years later at the 1938 Sydney Games he won the gold medal in the high diving contest and the silver medal in the 3 metre springboard event.
Subsequently, he became a senior and decorated officer in the Royal Air Force, rising to the rank of air commodore.
