Jan Tarło (d. 1550)
Jan Tarło was a Polish nobleman of the Topór heraldic clan. He was the son of Stanisław Tarło and Małgorzata Magier, and married Dorota Tarnowska. Beginning in 1522, he served as Crown Krajczy, was promoted to Crown Podczaszy in 1546, and was appointed Cześnik of the Crown by 1550. He also held the position of starost of Pilzno. He had several children, including a son also named Jan Tarło and Mikołaj Tarło, as well as daughters Anna and Elżbieta.
Jan was a Crown Craver since 1522, Crown Vice-cupbearer since 1546, Crown Cupbearer since 1550 and Starost of Pilzno.
