Don Keith


Don Keith is an American writer, best known for his books series Hunter Killer co-authored with George Wallace, of which the novel Firing Point was adapted into the film Hunter Killer. He has also authored several biographies, young adult novels, and military history books.

Biography

Keith was born on December 12, 1947, in Springville, Alabama. In 1970, he was a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Broadcast and Film.
He has been an amateur radio operator since 1969 and he co-owned with Sherri Brice the radio station WZEW in Mobile, Alabama from 1983 to 1986.
Keith's first novel, The Forever Season, received the Fiction of the Year award from the Alabama Library Association.
He and his wife, Charlene, live in Indian Springs Village, Alabama.
