Dolores Padierna


María de los Dolores Padierna Luna is a Mexican politician. A founding member of the Party of the Democratic Revolution, she left the party in September 2017. She later joined the National Regeneration Movement.
From 2000 to 2003, she served as the elected mayor of Cuauhtémoc, D.F.
She was a plurinominal senator during the Mexican Congress|62nd] and 63rd Congresses. She also served as a federal deputy in 1997–2000, 2003–2006 and 2018–2021.
Padierna Luna was the candidate for mayor in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City, for the National Regeneration Movement in the 2021 election despite accusations that she and her husband, René Bejarano, were corrupt.
She lost to Sandra Cuevas of the PRD.
In the 2024 general election, she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies
to represent Mexico City's Fourth federal [electoral district of Mexico City|fourth district] for the 2024–2027 congressional session.
