Dolno Kosovrasti


Dolno Kosovrasti is a village in the municipality of Debar, North Macedonia.

Demographics

Dolno Kosovrasti is attested in the Ottoman defter of 1467 as a village in the ziamet of Reka was under the authority of Karagöz Bey. The village had a total of 16 households and the anthroponymy attested was Slavic-Albanian in character, with a predominance of Slavic names while Albanian anthroponyms comprised around a quarter of those attested.
Dolno Kosovrasti has traditionally been inhabited by Orthodox Macedonians and a Torbeši population.
As of the 2021 census, Dolno Kosovrasti had 752 residents with the following ethnic composition:

According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 813 inhabitants. Ethnic groups in the village include:
