Remains of Doliochoerus not diagnostic to the species level from Pech Desse indicate it could have weighed up to 50 kg.ExtinctionDoliochoerus disappeared from Europe at the terminus of the Oligocene, together with Anthracotherium magnum and Microbunodon minimus.
