Doksany
Doksany is a municipality and village in Litoměřice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 500 inhabitants. It is known for the Premonstratensian Doksany Convent.
Geography
Doksany is located about south of Litoměřice, south of Ústí nad Labem and north of Prague. It lies in a flat agricultural landscape of the Lower Ohře Table. The municipality is situated on the right bank of the Ohře River, which forms the western municipal border.Climate
Doksany's climate is classified as oceanic climate. Among them, the annual average temperature is, the hottest month in July is, and the coldest month is in January. The extreme temperature throughout the year ranged from on 22 December 1969 to on 20 August 2012.During the June 2019 European heat wave, Doksany broke the record for the hottest temperature in June in the Czech Republic. The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute claimed that the temperature reached and warned that it could change to 40 degrees Celsius.
