Dmitry Kupriyanov

Dmitry Kupriyanov (26 November 1901 – 3 March 1971) is a Soviet military officer. He was born in Kargopolskiy Uyezd. He died in Kyiv.

He was educated at M.V. Frunze Military Academy and Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia. Awards received include Order of the Red Banner, Order of Lenin, Hero of the Soviet Union, Jubilee Medal "XX Years of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army", Order of Suvorov, 2nd class, Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky, 2nd class, Order of Kutuzov, 2nd class, Medal "For the Defence of Stalingrad", and Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945".
