Dipankar Talukdar

Dipankar Talukdar is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a former state minister of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs. He is a former member of Jatiya Sangsad representing Rangamati. He is a member Bangladesh Awami League Central executive committee and President of Bangladesh Awami League Rangamati hill district.

Early life

Talukdar was born on 12 December 1952.

Career

Talukdar was elected to parliament from Rangamati as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate.
Following the fall of the Sheikh Hasina led Awami League government, Talukdar was arrested from Dhaka in February 2025 by the Detective Branch.
