Digital Images is a scholarly work by Melissa Terras, published in 2009. The main subjects of the publication include computer science and 3D scanning. Although the technologies which underpin digital imaging have been in development for a surprisingly long time, recent developments in computing and networking technologies mean that digital images have recently become the dominant means to create and share photographic material.
