Dieter Krause
Dieter Krause was a German sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1950s to the mid-1960s. He won a gold medal in the K-1 4×500 m event at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome.
Krause also won four medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold, a silver, and two bronzes. He was a Stasi informer under the codename "Reiner Lesser".
