Cambarus diogenes
Cambarus diogenes is a crayfish that grows to be, not including the claws. It tends to live in wetlands and moist woodlands. They are most active in the summer and spring where they can be found near streams and floodplains near their mud chimney, where they live.Range
C. diogenes is found in Ontario and throughout the eastern United States, and is therefore listed as a species of Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
