Devighat


Devighat Dham is one of the most important historical and religious sites in the Nuwakot District of Nepal’s Central Development Region. It is situated about 60 km north of Kathmandu, near the confluence of the Trishuli River and Tadi River. The area is home to the renowned Jaalapa Devi Temple, the Bhairaveshwar Mahadev Temple, and several other sites of historical and spiritual significance. Devighat Dham is also notable as the place where King Prithvi Narayan Shah passed away, and where his funeral rituals were performed.
