Dans mon corps
Dans mon corps is the third studio album by Québécois Pop rock group Les Trois Accords released October 13, 2009.
The album marked a stylistic evolution for the band as they moved away from the punk-infused tones of their earlier work to a more polished pop sound with richer melodic textures. The production was helmed by Gus Van Go, a notable figure known for his work with several Canadian indie rock acts, which contributed to attaining a fuller, less distorted sound compared to previous releases.
Les Trois Accords also incorporated brass instruments on this album, enhancing the arrangements' depth and diversity. The lyrical style remains faithful to the band’s signature quirky humor and surrealism, featuring playful puns and ironic narratives throughout the album.
Several singles from the album, notably "Caméra vidéo" and "Dans mon corps," received significant radio play in Québec. The album’s visual identity featured a recurring character portrayed as a 1960s-style soul singer, used in multiple music videos, adding a distinctive thematic cohesion.
