Đăk Song district
Đắk Song is a rural district of Đắk Nông province in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam.
Geography
As of 2003 the district had a population of 41,774. The district covers an area of 808 km². The district capital lies at Đắk Song.History
Its name Đắc Song was from old name Daàk-sơng in Mnong language. It means "the stream of pine trees".However, there is a paradox is that, this name came from a gossip of the Kinh people reclaiming in the middle of the 20th century : Suối Tùng. It means "the spring of pine trees".
