Cross-cultural Psychiatry is a scholarly work, published in 1994 in ''British Journal of Psychiatry''. The main subjects of the publication include civilization, depression, psychiatry, religion and health, cultural psychology, cross-cultural communication, similarity, insanity, mental disorder, and psychology. He believed that mental disorders were organic diseases for which specific pathogens would ultimately be found.
