Conway R. Sands
Conway Robinson Sands was a lawyer and state senator who represented Richmond, Virginia, and surrounding areas in Henrico County. He was part of law firms with his father and brother, including Sands & Sands and later the firm Sands, Anderson, Marks and Miller.
He served as chairman of the joint library committee.
His brother was Alexander Hamilton Sands, who served as Commonwealth's Attorney of Henrico County.
Sands had a son with Mary Bowcock. One of their sons, Charles B. Sands, was a lieutenant and was killed in action during World War I. Another son became a football coach and insurance company employee.
