Cognitive Rehabilitation
Cognitive Rehabilitation is a scholarly work, published in 1990 in ''Archives of Neurology''. The main subjects of the publication include neglect, psychiatry, neuropsychological rehabilitation, psychology, disability affecting intellectual abilities, quality of life, cognition, medicine, trauma centre, cognitive rehabilitation therapy, gerontology, incentive, traumatic brain injury, nursing, compensation, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and cranial trauma. In view of the previous neglect of posttraumatic neurobehavioral disturbances by the health care system, it is understandable that families in desperate circumstances were responsive to programs that attempted to restore cognitive function in disabled survivors.
