City University of Science and Information Technology, Peshawar is a private-sector university based in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It was First university chartered by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), and allowed to operate by the Pakistan Engineering Council.The university is fully registered from Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, also registered from other councils as well to offer many diciplines.
The university offers Engineering Technology, Educational Sciences, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Allied Health Sciences,and Pharmacy program.

History and progress

Founded in 1979. Initially, a primary school was established by Muhammad Zahoor Sethi, comprising just one moderate campus with 300 students. But, in due course of time, the establishment of eleven separate school campuses, four degree college campuses for boys and two degree college campuses for girls, with a combined strength of over 26,000 students. Currently, the university is managed by teams of Board Of Governors, Academic Council, Board of Advanced Studies & Research, Selection Board and Finance & Planning Committee.The university is assigned as W-category by Higher Education Commission.
The Pharmacy Council of Pakistan conducted a comprehensive official inspection visit to CUSIT University to evaluate the quality and standards of the Pharm.D program. During this visit, the inspection team carefully reviewed the academic curriculum, qualifications and experience of the faculty members, laboratory infrastructure, availability of modern equipment, library and learning resources, and the arrangements for practical training and clinical exposure of students.After a detailed assessment based on the prescribed criteria and national standards for pharmacy education, the Pharmacy Council granted full accreditation to the Pharm.D program at CUSIT University.
