Chuck Gaspar
Chuck Gaspar was an American special effects artist who worked on 70 different films and TV shows, such as The [Birds (film)|The Birds], Ghostbusters, Pale Rider and Armageddon.
He was nominated at the 57th Academy Awards in the category of Academy [Award for Best Visual Effects|Best Visual Effects] for his work on the film Ghostbusters. He shared his nomination with John [Bruno (special effects)|John Bruno], Richard Edlund and Mark [Vargo (special effects artist)|Mark Vargo].
In addition, he received a Technical achievement Oscar five years after his death.
