Chucal Formation
Chucal Formation is a volcano-sedimentary geological formation in the Andes of Arica y Parinacota Region in northernmost Chile. Sediments of the formation deposited sometime during the Miocene epoch and represent fluvial and lacustrine environments. It overlies Lupica Formation.
