Charlie Curtis was an Australian rules footballer who played with Carlton in the Victorian Football League.
Family
The son of John Richard Curtis, J.P., and Elizabeth Curtis, née Harry, Charles Ernest Curtis was born at Carlton, Victoria on 17 December 1878.One of his brothers, Harry Richard Curtis (1892-1968), played VFL football for both Carlton and Collingwood.
He married Alice Louisa Atkinson in 1904. He married Maud May Ratcliff in 1911.
