Cemalettin Kani Torun
Cemalettin Kani Torun is a Turkish physician, former civil servant, and politician who served as a Member of Parliament in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Torun was elected as an MP for Istanbul in the 2018 Turkish general election, representing the Good Party. He served one term until 2023 and was reelected during the 2023 Turkish general elections representing Bursa.
He graduated from the Gülhane Military Medical Academy, Torun worked as a physician. He served in various senior positions in the civil service, including as the Provincial Health Director of Istanbul and as a Deputy Undersecretary at the Ministry of Health.
