Catherine Fleury-Vachon
Catherine Fleury is a French judoka, world and Olympic champion. She won the gold medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics – [Women's">Judo at the 1992 Summer Olympics">1992 Summer Olympics – [Women's 61 kg|half middleweight division] at the Judo at the [1992 Summer Olympics|1992 Summer Olympics] in Barcelona.
She won a gold medal at the 1989 [World Judo Championships] and bronze medals at the 1991 and at the 1995 [World Judo Championships – Women's 61 kg|1995 World Judo Championships].
She was the first French woman in history winning the gold medal at the Olympics.
