Carlos Canário

Carlos Augusto Ribeiro Canário was a Portuguese footballer who played as a midfielder for Estrela Portalegre, Sporting CP and the Portugal national team.
Born in Portalegre, he was known at Sporting as the Sexto Violino for his support to the five forwards known as the Cinco Violinos. His international career did not start until age 30, due to competition from Belenenses' Augusto Amaro.
Canário was awarded Sporting's Prémio Stromp in 1988. He died aged 72, shortly after watching the team.
