Candice Lill


Candice Lill is a South African cyclist who competes in the Cross-country and road bicycle racing disciplines of the sport.

Life

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Lill competed in the Women's cross-country at Hadleigh Farm, finishing in 28th place. She participated at the 2013 [UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships|2013 World Championships] which were held in Pietermaritzburg.
No South African cross country cyclists qualified for the 2016 Olympics, and Lill herself spent that time focussing on road racing, returning to cross country cycling in 2018. Lill participated in the UCI Mountain Bike & Trials [World Championships – Women's cross-country|Elite Cross-country World Championships] in 2018, 2019 and 2020, and the 2020 Olympics.
She was third in Birmingham at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and she won a silver medal in the following year at the UCI Marathon World Championships.

Personal life

She is married to fellow South African cyclist, Darren Lill.
