Camembert, Orne
Camembert is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France.
It is the place where camembert cheese originated and is named after.
Geography
The commune is part of the area known as Pays d'Auge.One river, the Viette, and four streams run through the commune.
History
The village is most noted for the early development of camembert cheese by Marie Harel in 1791.Notable buildings and places
