Bud Swartz
Sherwin Merle "Bud" Swartz was an American Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the St. Louis Browns in. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was Jewish. He attended University High School in Los Angeles, California.
A single in his only at-bat at 18 years of age left Swartz with a rare major league career batting average of 1.000. He pitched in five games, and gave up four earned runs in innings.
