Borostomias
Borostomias is a genus of barbeled dragonfishes.
The name derives from Greek βόρος and στομίας.
Indeterminate fossil remains of Borostomias are known from the Middle Miocene of Italy, making this genus one of the very few barbeled dragonfishes known from fossil remains.
