Johann Otto Boeckeler

Johann Otto Boeckeler was a German apothecary-botanist of Oldenburg. He specialized in the plant family Cyperaceae, of which, he was the binomial authority of many species.
He is commemorated with the genus Boeckeleria and the species Bulbostylis boeckeleriana.
